Principal's Welcome

I am profoundly honored and humbled to take this opportunity to briefly introduce myself. My name is Bijen Singh, and I have had the privilege of being appointed as the NEW Principal of Vunimono High School for the academic year 2022. It is my mission and passion to ensure that all of our students have access to a rigorous high-quality education and certify that our graduates are Tertiary, Career, and Life Ready. With my newly appointed administrative team, we are committed to serve the community to our optimum capacity,

Most of my teaching and administrative experience has been working with high school students; I am very passionate about high school and all the life-changing opportunities it can provide for our future generations. This is a very critical time in the life of a young adult and sets a foundation for University, Career, and Life Readiness and other post-secondary options.

Before joining the Vunimono family, I served in a variety of teaching and administrative roles within the Fijian Education System.

I strongly believe that as a school, we have the obligation to provide every student a well-rounded, world-class education with access to 21st century skills, curriculum, and training. I invite parents to become our partners in their child's education and the educational process. I believe that by working together we will ensure that ALL of our students will be academically successful l and possess the abilities required to participate in an ever-changing global community. I am elated to be a part of the Vunimono community and to work closely with everyone to take our school to the next level.
